Description:
This is a loose-leaf herbal tea (infusion) made of only dried rose petals.
How to use:
Add 1g or 1 tsp to a tea bag or stainless-steel infuser for 1 cup of tea.
Add 3g or 3 tsp to a large tea bag or stainless-steel infuser for a pot of tea.
Rose petals are rich in:
- Antioxidants –
- Vitamins E and C
- Polyphenols – rutin, salicylic acid
- Flavonoids – quercetrin, astragalin (anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, neuroprotective)
May assist with:
- Arthritis – (anti-inflammatory)
- Period pains and bloating – (anti-inflammatory, may help prevent blood clots)
- Digestion – (increases the liver’s bile production)
Avoid rose tea if:
